Resumo: Games have a huge economic and cultural success. However, they represent a fairly new empirical area. They also have different needs from other systems, making the games industry face a challenge in adopting good practices of Software Engineering for systems of this domain have high quality. Based on this context, the study aims to perform a characterization of the modularization of these systems. For such a Spearman Correlation Analysis using six measures of coupling and three measurements of cohesion recognized in the Software Engineering literature. Such measures were collected from 100 open source projects, categorized as games at Sourceforge repository. Resumo: Twitter is a social networking comprehensive currently with 200 million active
users, and also a social network posting in real time, with ease of spreading content
to other users. The idea of analyzing the users in relation to their behavior
within the Twitter identifying the number of retweets, number of followers, mentions
and other aspects helps detecting the influence of users. Organizations can
use this knowledge to apply to their business, generating competitive advantage.
For example, the customer relationship, marketing campaigns can be optimized,
and getting feedback from users can help in launching new products. The main
objective of this work is to study the works in the literature, as is done by identifying
the overall process of discovering influential users on Twitter, the main
algorithms used and the application contexts. This study will allow new works
to be developed by applying the existing algorithms on new databases, proposing
new algorithms, optimizing existing algorithms or proposing different processes

Resumo: This final paper presents the process of modeling and development of an
educational web hypermedia application, supported by learning objects, as
support and didactic resource in teaching the subject Object Oriented
Programming in UFLA, providing a flexible way to absorb and to query
information. To perform the modeling and development of the proposed
hypermedia application, the model of authorship OOHDM (Object Oriented
Hypermedia Design Method) was adopted. Another important aspect verified in
this work was related to didactic and pedagogical issues involved in educational
hypermedia applications. Thereunto, it was used the instructional design, which
includes many pedagogical factors, in order to enhance the reached learning
level, and it was accomplished the validation of the system, through surveying
the users. As a result, it was achieved the creation of an educational web
hypermedia taking learning objects and benefiting pedagogical and didactic
aspects, which enable the learner to acquire basic knowledge in the area of

Resumo: This work aims to study and analyze the performance of the currently technologies
used in the data transmission for mobile devices and compare it with the
Smart Antennas technology that is identified as a key technology to increase communication
capability and quality in wireless networks. The technology behind
the Smart Antennas is still incipient, being similar to the used in military radar
systems. The experiments conducted in this paper evaluated the transmission of
wireless devices in indoor and outdoor environments. There were used four devices,
two of which use traditional technologies and two that use the technologies of
Smart Antennas. During tests were evaluated the metrics, throughput, jitter, number
of clients supported by each Access Point (AP), number of packets transmitted
and the number of lost packets. The tests were conducted at the Federal University
of Lavras (UFLA), and the software Iperft was used to perform the experiments in
order to evaluate the data transfer performance using the TCP and UDP protocols.
The results prove the performance of the Smart Antennas Technology, and still
present the benefits that this new technology can bring to the data transmission in
wireless networks. The Smart Antennas usage showed a significant improvement
in the data transmission quality, as well as, support to a larger number of customers
when compared to the currently AP technology.2016-01-13T00:00:00Z
