Abstract: | Air temperature and relative humidity are important meteorological variables to evaluate thermal comfort for birds. So, the objective of this study was to develop an automated system formed by hardware and software embedded in the microcontroller so as to supervise and control thermal conditions in broiler sheds. This study was carried out in Lavras, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It had two phases : the first consisted in a computational analysis by simulation and the second in which the developed hardware and the software had their sensitivity in registering meteorological conditions evaluated in an acclimated wind tunnel. The prototype was able to control automatically ambiance equipments for aviaries houses and supervise meteorological variables. |
