Description: This work investigated the influence of urban tree planting conditions on the basic relations of N, P and K foliar content. The studied species were acer (Acer negundo L.) and ipê (Tabebuia chrysotricha ( Mart ex DC.) Standl). To achieve this, different locations were selected including places with different traffic load intensities (high, medium, residential quarters and municipal parks); different planting conditions (paved, grass-bed and municipal parks) and different tree categories (superior and inferior). The data obtained suggest that the elemental NPK foliar proportions were higher than those established in the specialized literature, for urban trees, independent of planting conditions. A slight influence of environmental conditions on foliar NPK relations was also observed.
