A abordagem sócio-construcionista e a produção de sentidos sobre o desemprego: um estudo no setor industrial da RM-BH

Abstract

The refistered work, as an employment category, takes up a large part of the workforce in Brazil, therefore, unemployment is an importam and current matter ofdiscussion in the Brazilian context. The unemployment maybe better comprehended as a social and historical development, involving the social subjects andthe condition they work. In Brazil, thereare verymarking presences in the work relations, the paternalism and the "patrimonysm", they were inherited by it's owncountry's social andhistorical development. Therefore, it is said that the unemployment phenomenon may be investigated by a kind of process of production of the sense, from the social subjects. For this, it was chosen to build a theoretical-methodological multidisciplinary perspective, rejoicing concepts of the management science, work socialization and the social psychology. The constructionism approach and analysis of the discursive practices was chosen as a theoretical and methodological possibility for the study. An argument was developed with the empirical research, developed in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, State of Minas Gerais, Brasil, with the goal of comprehending the production process of senses in the unemployment phenomenon, from the discursive practices of the involved subjects. In the proposed analysis presentation, a concept of discursive repertoires was developed from the complementation of interpretative repertoires. There were four repertoires identified: the refistered worker's condition; changes in the industrial work configuration; the unemployment condition; and the unregistered worker's conditions. The last senses about the unemployment were identified in the RM-BH: maintenance ofthe job availability, competitiveness, the growth of precarious work relations, social issues, problem in the job availability, ("nonemployable"), questions about the social inclusion system. This study can help to advance in a theoretical and methodological debate in the studies about the reality of work/employment and to amplify the discussion about the implementation and management of politics and programs to generate jobs and income.
