Resumo: | The objective of this work was to evaluate the distribution of thermal comfort and noise levels in Compost Barn installations with different ventilation systems, through the geostatistical technique. The experiment was conducted in April 2017, in two farms located in Madre de Deus – MG. Three installations with different ventilation systems were evaluated: natural ventilation; low-volume, high-speed mechanical ventilation (LVHS); and mechanical ventilation of high volume and low speed (HVLS). The interior of the facilities was divided into meshes of 40 equidistant points, in which the levels of Air Temperature (Tar), Relative Humidity (RH) and Noise were collected manually, and such collections were always performed in the afternoon. The geostatistical technique was used for to evaluate the dependence and spatial distribution of Temperature and Humidity Index (THI) and noise levels. The results found evidenced the occurrence of strong spatial dependence for both variables and facilities. The highest levels of THI were observed for installation with natural ventilation, while the highest levels of noise were verified for installation with LVHS type ventilation, and the installation with HVLS type ventilation showed low spatial variability. |
