Influencia da impermeabilização e das áreas de preservação permanente no volume do escoamento superficial e vazão de pico, na Bacia do Córrego das Lajes - Uberaba, MG

Abstract

he aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of increased waterproofing and effective performance of APP (Permanent Preservation Areas) in reducing the volume of runoff and peak flow in the basin of Stream Lajes, located in Uberaba, Minas Gerais. To estimate the excess rain, we used the Method Curve Number CN the Soil Conservation Service (SCS). The flood hydrograph for the basins without detention reservoir were obtained through direct application of Method Santa Barbara, and the basin with detention reservoir, in addition to Method Santa Barbara, it was used the Pulz method and the equations of Saint-Venant. It was concluded that the major peak flow and larger volumes of runoff were found at the sealed basin. Only APP with larger areas and higher percentage in relation to the area of the corresponding sub-basin were effective in attenuating peak flows and volumes.
