The mini-course took place beyond the exhibition of the film with the discussion of issues such as the interest of the media and its role in capitalist society and proposed dialogues regarding overcoming this model of production. Evaluating the mini-course through written evaluations and analyzing through the analysis of thematic content, five categories were constructed that deal with topics such as the nature of critical environmental education, the methodology of mini-course and its importance for teacher training, relationships between media and capital and dialogues between the concepts of reality, news and truth. Stating with this work that, the historical-critical understanding of the media made possible by the minicourse was of great importance for the training of its participants, especially those who are already educators or are in the training since these are the main agents of environmental education.
