Trabalhando percepções: estudo com jovens agricultores sobre os aspectos legais do Código Florestal

Abstract

The research focuses the perceptions of the rapports that link productive features, life quality and public policies; it analyzes the ideas of young rural students in an Escola Família Agrícola (rural family school) about the debate on Brazilian “Forest Code” law. The data were collected in loco using semi-structured interviews and treated afterwards. Results show that students are conscious about the importance of preserving natural resources. However, a need is perceived of fostering good practices instead of punishing farmers for the noncompliance of environmental law.
