Resumo: This article discusses the process of entrepreneurial action present in innovations practiced in an association of collectors of recyclable materials located in the southern region of Minas Gerais, created from municipal environmental education projects, initially developed by students from a federal university. The main objective of the study was to identify innovative projects and entrepreneurs conducted by the association and their cycles glimpse of entrepreneurial activities. The methodology used is qualitative, exploratory, two semi structured interviews. The cycle of action defines the opportunities (middle initial action) and innovation (a consequence of the practice of opportunity) and the result gives rise to new entrepreneurial action. They show up innovative aspects, which in the cycle relate to the idea of creativity in the undertaking, as a phenomenon that goes beyond the limits of the individual. The innovations can be observed from the moment of creation of the association, as well as their outstanding projects carried out later.
