Relações existentes entre a teoria institucional e o empreendedorismo no setor público

Abstract

This theoretical essay aims to carry out a study on institutional theory and entrepreneurship, in a way that sought to understand the relationships between these two concepts. Given this, it is possible to highlight the emergence of institutional entrepreneurship that aims to insert innovation in organizations and break the isomorphism in them. Thus, this work intends to answer the following research question: How does institutionalism contribute to the analysis of entrepreneurship in the public sector? As a future research agenda, studies aimed at institutionalism and its relations with entrepreneurial actions are suggested, since in the academic literature little information is found on the subject.
