A produção acadêmica sobre o SIMAVE: mapeamento de teses e dissertações (2000-2019)

Abstract

This article presents the first phase of an ongoing study on large-scale external evaluation in the state of Minas Gerais. The first phase of the investigation was the mapping and preliminary analysis of the academic production on the Evaluation and Equity in Public Education System of Minas Gerais - SIMAVE in the period from 2000 to 2019. The survey of theses and dissertations was carried out in two repositories that store research developed in graduate programs throughout the country. A hundred and sixteen papers were found, 17 theses and 99 dissertations. A preliminary analysis of the data collected from reading the abstracts and keywords enabled the identification of a diversity of studies focusing different areas of knowledge, demonstrating that the evaluation permeates and branches out from the classrooms to the management of the system.
