Resumo: | In order to improve the quality of these seeds super sweet group new technologies are being incorporated into the production systems. Among these, the use of biostimulants are considered promising agronomic strategies to increase productivity. The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality of seeds of super sweet corn under conditions of water stress when using biostimulants. The seeds of the hybrids (BRS Vivi, Tropical Plus) were treated with Booster®, Vitakelp® and Stimulate® products. After the treatments the physiological quality of the seeds were evaluated by the first count of germination, germination, emergence, emergency speed index (IVE) and cold test. A completely randomized design was used, with four replicates in a factorial scheme, 4x4x2 for germination, three biostimulants plus the control, four osmoticpotential (0 -0.3, -0.6, -0.9 Mpa) and 2 temperature (25 and 30 ° C). While for the other tests, the 4x4 factorial scheme was used (three biostimulants plus the control, and 4 water deficit conditions, plus the control). Biostimulant Booster® is more efficient for the treatment of super sweet corn seeds. There are differences in the responses of cultivars to biostimulants. Under stress conditions biostimulants have a positive effect of establishment of seedlings. |
