A referenciação em textos multissemióticos: uma análise de animações minimalistas publicadas em reels no instagram

Abstract

The objective of this dissertation is to analyze the referencing strategies present in minimalist animations published in reels on Instagram. We start from an interactionist socio-cognitive theoretical approach that explores language as a social and cognitive process, which takes effect in contexts of interaction between subjects. Although referencing is one of the most widely studied topics in Text Linguistics, the emergence of digital technologies and the modes of communication associated with them have triggered changes in the ways texts are organized and operated, which has culminated in the transformation of textual genres and in the emergence of emerging genres. In view of this, the research problem that guides this dissertation aims to seek understanding about the ways in which referential processes work in minimalist animations published in reels on Instagram. The methodology of this work consisted of carrying out bibliographical research, consisting of a compilation and proposition of a systematization of theoretical assumptions that underlie the field of Text Linguistics, as well as studies on the referencing process. Furthermore, an analysis of referential processes was carried out in three textual productions of minimalist animations published in reels on the social media Instagram. From the study undertaken, it was possible to verify that the phenomenon of referencing in multisemiotic productions is complex, which requires readers to have reading skills that include the analysis of semiotic diversity and its potential effects on meaning. Furthermore, referential processes can be configured as cohesive links, as processes of introduction and maintenance of referents, being responsible for textual construction (processes of feedback and prospection) and argumentative guidance. From the theoretical study, it was possible to understand that text theories are being asked to expand analysis approaches depending on the configuration modes of different textual genres, which are, based on editing tools, increasingly presenting recurring, combinations of semiotic resources. Furthermore, it was possible to verify that the phenomenon of referencing is currently studied from a linguistic-semiotic-discursive perspective. The analysis of minimalist animations published in reels demonstrates that referential introductions and recategorizations are relevant to the process of meaning production, since the choices made by the producers are a result of the project of saying and are analyzed by the interlocutors, who, in turn, Instead, they interpret them based on their conceptions of being and being in the world.
