| Abstract: | Many academic papers highlight the importance of policies of integration between University and Industry as well as their influence on the increase in innovation processes. However, few studies discuss initiatives of individual researchers as agents of technology development. This study sought to understand the rise of agro-technological innovation from the initiative of the researcher. We used the method case study and were employed to collect data, semi-structured interviews and document analysis. The results showed some singularities of the innovation process, related techno-scientific experience of the researcher and entrepreneurial and institutional changes not controlled by political or strategic intentions. |
