Resumo: This work is to carry out the modeling in state space, as well as to employ the state space average value technique and the respective allocation control projects connection of poles and LQR, Linear Quadratic Regulator, to the VR-BESS converter, Voltage Regulator - Battery Energy Storage System, in order to obtain regulated voltage on the load and control the flux of energy between a battery bank and the DC bus in isolated photovoltaic systems. The VR-BESS conver- ter is a DC-DC converter capable of providing voltage regulation in the charging and controlling the flow of energy between a battery bank and a DC bus. This one converter can be used in pho- tovoltaic solar panels for electric power generation in systems isolated from the electrical grid and has the advantage of operating in two Different delivery needs as well as the delivery of this isolated system o The fact that, with only one circuit, it implements a buck converter and two boosters. A review of the literature on DC-DC converters was carried out, detailing the VR-BESS, this converter was mathematically modeled and the control techniques were applied by allocation of poles and LQR through simulations in MATLAB software. To model mate- mathematically, the system used state space modeling, which is an alternative efficient and widely used for systems with inputs and outputs, just like the VR-BESS converter is. The state- space mean value technique was used and A single one capable of describing the entire system. The CC analysis was then performed and CA and the last result of this started the control project by allocation of poles and LQR. VR-BESS control techniques maintain and maintain regulated load the results obtained obtained the efficiency of the proposed methods, it is emphasized that the LQR control technique presented superior performance to the pole allocation, both in use of disturbances in a steady state regarding the best use of energy of control available.
