Resumo: The aim of this study was to evaluate the physical-mechanical performance of composite fiber cement extruded, produced with waste automobile tires. For that they were adopted the following percentages: para borracha de pneu - 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20% - tire for ash - 0, 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10% relative to the total weight of the mixture. For all treatments was employed 60% of CPV-ARI cement, 33% of limestone; 1% of HPMC, 1% of ADVA more water. Among the materials evaluated, the best indicated was leading in its formulation the tire ash, especially the composite 5% of ash, which surpassed the other treatments evaluated as to water absorption, porosity, modulus of rupture, elastic modulus, limit of proportionality and tenacity, assigning the material the best physical and mechanical properties. In treatments that led tire particles, composite was observed in 10%, the best physical properties and composite particles tire 5%, the best mechanical properties. Both comopósitos that lead in its composition rubber particles as those that lead ashes, both attended the marketing standard NBR 12800 (ABNT, 1993) requiring water absorption of 37%. requiring water absorption of 37%. As for the results evaluated to Break Module (MOR), It is then NBR 15498 (ABNT, 2007) which ranked the composite leading rubber particles in class II and composite qeu lead tire ash in class III, this very last, with higher values of MOR.
