Abstract: This study aimed to evaluate different production systems in biochemical indicators of an Oxisol in the southwest. The experiment was conducted in the experimental field of ME in Rio Verde - GO. We evaluated four growing production systems (Soy/ Brachiaria; Soy/spontaneous vegetation; Soy/single corn; soybean/corn + Brachiaria ruziziensis), with four replications. Samplings were carried out in December 2011 (full flowering of soybeans) and August 2012 (after maize harvest). The values were compared by 5% Tukey test, using the statistical program SISVAR. The crop production systems have altered the biochemical attributes: respiration and activity of FDA enzymes and acid phosphatase, and the plots with the presence of Brachiaria those that benefited the activity of soil microbes. One can also observe the harvesting period provided better results in the studied attributes, due to temperature and humidity conditions.
