Abstract: The present work is the synthesis of some results obtained in a research accomplished with the purpose to detect possible flaws in the learning-studies of the Geometry in 8 schools of Divinópolis city, MG, involving students from to 5th grade of the primary school to the 3rd year of the high school. It approaches the students' opinions that answered to a questionnaire where was requested them that talked about your contact to the Geometry, and yours and teachers' attitudes with relationship to the discipline. Specifically on geometric concepts, it evaluates your referring knowledge to you represent plane and space, in the one that they have of more elementary. The results show that a mistaken approach of the Geometry exists at the schools, and that many of the students ignore the basic concepts of the Geometry. It was concluded about the necessity of reflection, discussion the news questions and actions for the best quality in the educational process.
