Abstract: This article intends to stand out the main stages of the process of development language from the proposals of Vygotsky (1998, 1999a, 1999b, 2003, 2009). With the intention to identify the relation between the egocentric language and the symbolic game detach the paper of the fancy in this child development. Considering a child unprovided of internal structures that enable it to express its feelings of coherent form to be understood, the narratives of stories of fairies, according to studies of Bettelheim (1980), explore in its plot conflictive situations, a language that is understandable for the child. The text has left of estimated of that the narratives can offer to references of behaviors it, in relation to the identification with personages and its incorporation, to the experience of problems and its externalize. Through the use of the egocentric language and the imaginary creation, brokered by fairy tales, it would be possible to provide a feeling to it of security for the interior conflict resolution?
