Resumo: Understanding that Environmental Education becomes effective in the process of awareness and awakening of consciousness of human beings with regard to the activities of life, undergraduate students in full degree in Biological Sciences participants Institutional Scholarship Program Initiation to Teaching (PIBID) of the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) built a work that was proposed in the environmental education course in which the participants of the activity. The methodology developed was divided into five stages: the presentation of the Rio + 20 event invitation; discussion of proposed concepts in the event of documents; splitting groups for making interpretive panels; the presentation of posters of groups, each group five minutes for the presentation; and the discussion of the posters and the proposals of documents and evaluation methodology. The methodology proposed in this activity has shown that the presentation of the official video of the event, made up the panels and the final discussion are a model of dissemination and popularization of EA. From the analysis of the panels and discussions, it was concluded that the methodology became effective in the process of raising awareness and criticality in participating, so the panels behave as a functional tool for teaching Environmental education.
