Resumo: | Being the coffee a perennial crop, the deployment of this crop should be well planned and to this it, is indispensable its start with quality seedlings. Given that the development of seedling stems primarily from the substrate, studies that seek to obtain a formulation of substrate that best meets the needs of plants are necessary. In this regard, this study aimed to evaluate the development of coffee seedlings under systems of conventional and organic management with different substrate compositions. In the test we adopted the randomized block design, with three replications and 24 treatments, in a factorial design 3X2X4, which were tested respectively in three varieties: IAC-44, Yellow Catucaí 2SL and Mundo Novo IAC 379-19; two management systems: conventional and organic represented respectively by the use of superphosphate and potassium chloride and the use of phosphate and potassium sulfate and three sources of organic fertilizers: poultry, beef, humus and control without adding any source of organic fertilizer. The cultivars are influenced by the substrate associated with the management system. The conventional management is superior to organic when applied multivariate methods of assessment. |
