As methodological strategy was used a quantitative approach, through descriptive and multivariate statistical techniques, with the purpose of evaluating teaching in subgroups of competences. Among the main results, it can be seen that the set of more developed competences has been the “management competences”, although it has identified modest levels of development. Among the less developed competences, it highlight the set of “technological competences”, indicating low levels of development of competences related to the use of technologies in processes of management and knowledge sharing. It is concluded that the higher education institutions surveyed have not developed satisfactorily the competences required in the Administrator qualification, emerging new discussions on teaching-learning processes centered on the development of the administrative competencies identified in the literature.
