Abstract: The study of analysis of common bean growth through the accumulation of dry mass and micronutrients along the vegetative cycle is an important information tool for the aid of appropriate management, and possibly, detection of factors that directly affect in the plant’s development. For this reason, the modeling of growth can aid a better knowledge and application of agricultural practices. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyze growth curves of dry matter and micronutrients such as boron, copper, iron, manganese and zinc in the aerial part of the common bean Ouro Vermelho cultivar, considering different seeding densities (75, 145, 215, 285 and 355 thousand plant ha -1), by adjusting nonlinear models, Logistic, Gompertz and von Bertalanffy, in the evaluation ages of the plants. The experiment was conducted at Universidade Federal de Lavras, in a randomized block design, with three replicates, in a 5 x 8 factorial scheme, being five seeding densities (75, 145, 215, 285 and 355 thousand plant ha -1) and eight evaluation period (13, 23, 33, 43, 53, 63, 73, 83 days after emergence). The method of estimation used was the Gauss Newton. Besides that, all analyzes of the work were conducted using the R open-source software environment. The nonlinear models Gompertz, Logistic, and von Bertalanffy were suitable to describe the common bean growth, making possible a classification of the antibiotic weight of the micronutrients and the period of occurrence of the greater accumulation. The Logistic model presented better adjustment properties and the accumulation of micronutrients was carried out through a sigmoidal trajectory.
