Abstract: | This theoretical paper presents a discussion about the relationship between organizational identity dynamics and the prospect of coevolution through interorganizational relationships established in Global Production Networks between multinational companies and their subsidiaries and partners in the countries where they operate. This paper presents some concepts of identity and the context in which the identity concepts has been studied. In addition, it presents a guide of studies that initially discuss personal identity, followed to the identity discussion in groups and, finally, in organizations. Lastly, the discussion is oriented towards the alteration of identity aspects in terms of inter-organizational relations, considering information and technology sharing that impacts organizational processes and management practices of organizations in networks. |
