Abstract: We aimed to evaluate the effect of seasonality and nutrient solutions in production, survival, rooting and roots vigor of juvenile Araucaria angustifolia minicuttings, as well as the growth habit of formed seedling. Ministumps were managed in semi-hydroponic system where we applied two nutrient solutions with different nutrients concentrations supplied by dripping during the four seasons. After 11 collections, the ministumps showed 100% survival and the highest production occurred in summer with 1,356 minicuttings.m-2.year-1, and the lowest in winter, with 429 minicuttings.m-2.year-1. The winter collections showed the best rooting results, with an average of 83% in the shade house, versus 31% of other seasons. The greatest roots vigor was obtained in spring and summer collections, and the lowest in winter. The most concentrated nutrient solution resulted in higher minicuttings production and better roots vigor and all the obtained minicuttings showed orthotropic growth habit. The minicuttings technique with vegetative propagules of seminal origin proved to be potential for minicuttings production of A. angustifolia, being significantly influenced by season and nutrient solution employed.
