| Abstract: | The objective was to predict the pressures in the structure of silos, as a function of data regarding the silo and the product to be stored. It is a didactic system, with simple, friendly interface, consisting of three screens, for choosing the silo orientation, data entry and detailed visualization of the results. The main routines involved include the calculation of loading and unloading pressures: vertical, horizontal and friction of the product with the silo wall. The system also provides precision in the determination and speed of processing, allowing simulations involving various situations. |
