| Abstract: | The german cockroach, Blattella germanica (L.) has been controlled with chemical insecticides. This insecticides selects resistant individuals and can cause contamination. An alternative on the chemical control is the use of Metharhizium anisopliae. The objective was to evaluate the feasibility of using the M. anisopliae to control of B. germanica. Four control strategies have been tested and the results show that the pathogenic fungus is the german cockroach and the control efficiency depends on the level of cleaning and organizing the environment. |
