Abstract: The knowledge of the behavior of the energy metabolism and its adaptations to the different stimuli that occur with the physical training, is extreme important for a professional of the physical activity to prescribe and to monitor the physical exercise. But it is known that the strength training produces better adaptations in the anaerobic energy system as is the increase of the strength muscle, a better synchronization of the muscle fibers express trains, increase of the activity of enzymes of the anaerobic metabolism, better utilization of the muscle glycogen. Already the aerobic training produces different adaptations to these, as is; increase of the VO2MAX, increase of the capacity to resist to the exercise of average and short intensity during a period prolonged, a greater activity of the enzymes of aerobic metabolism, greater utilization of the greasy acids in detriment of the glycogen. But still, many doubts on the adaptations of the concurrent training exist. We present a review of literature to study the effects of the concurrent training. We have found in the literatures the negative interference among the training, and we find that these interferences you can damage the development the parameters of performance, but the control of variables: as intensity, duration and initial degree of training can help with these differences we are diminished or until they disappearing.
