Resumo: By using the concept of movement body culture as an object of study and teaching in Physical Education classes for basic education, there is a great possibility of working with the universe of fights/martial arts in this context. It is worth mentioning that this content is legally supported by curriculum documents nationwide, which is why it is necessary to address it in the process of initial teacher training in undergraduate courses in Physical Education. Therefore, this work aims to analyze the (remote) formative experiences of students from the degree course in Physical Education at the Federal University of Lavras throughout the semester in the discipline GFD 198 Pedagogy of Fights. We know that the lack of experience of teachers on this topic in academic life and outside this environment, as well as the concern with violence that they believe is intrinsically linked to this universe, hinders their theoretical-methodological development in the context of educational spaces. To analyze what were/are the conceptions of these students in initial formation about the fights/martial arts before, during and after the course, we will use the subsidy of qualitative research and data collection instruments, such as the registration of written works (prepared remotely) and those from class recordings. The great challenge that arises in times of pandemic is the pedagogical reflection on the fact that we are living the remote work regime at the Federal University of Lavras, the institution where the discipline takes place. Thus, how to pedagogically address this content considering the challenges of learning through bodily experiences themselves? How to bring meaningful learning, given the context of virtuality? In this sense, the formative experiences resulting from the development of the aforementioned discipline allowed us to conclude that remote learning, on the one hand, imposes a series of objective and subjective challenges in the relationship between teaching, corporeality and learning of fights/martial arts, on the other, it demonstrated us also that it is possible to approach the theme in a way that the students reflect, give new meaning and build systematized proposals to the different stages of schooling.
