Resumo: Innovations have appeared in society with relevant frequency and with rapid transformations. It is pointed out that technological advances can bring benefits, but, without a careful analysis, they can hide unwanted effects. In this sense, Responsible Innovation is concerned with the impact of introducing innovations in society. It refers here to the notion that the innovation process and the interaction of the actors must be transparent and thought together based on some principles including mutual responsibility and concern for the future that is planned to arrive with the innovations. One of the contexts in which a profusion of technologies has emerged concerns urban mobility, especially in relation to intelligent mobility, which aims to combat the problems of the current system. It is also noteworthy that when it comes to mobility, the State of Minas Gerais has relevant points to be observed, due to its transport network and population contingent, plus the need to meet the objectives related to the transport system proposed in the 2030 Agenda of Sustainable development. From this, based on a quantitative methodology, we sought to analyze through the principles of responsible innovation in the context of smart mobility in eight cities in Minas Gerais that have more than one hundred thousand inhabitants, through a semi-structured questionnaire with 31 indicators in six categories. The results indicate a non-positive evaluation of the indicators, demonstrating that the gains from innovations have not been perceived. It is also placed through the indicators, their evaluation frequencies and correlations, the significant margin of possible improvement for the system, indicating questions for reflection that must be analyzed and applied to innovations aimed at improving evaluations, thus achieving a mobility system more sustainable and responsive urbanization. Among the correlations benefits that can come with the adoption of shared mobilities, active and micro mobility proved to be correlated.
