Abstract: The objective of this paper describe the origin and nerves that make up the brachial plexus of this species. We used four samples of Tamandua mirim, three males and one female from trampling on highways in the states of Minas Gerais and Paraná. The animals were fixed by intramuscular injection and intraviscerais with aqueous 10% formaldehyde and then deissected. The brachial plexus of the anteater mirim graduated from the ventral rami of cervical nerves five (C5), six (C6), seven (C7) and eight (C8) and the ventral ramus of a thoracic spinal nerve (T1).
