| Abstract: | An outbreak of diarrhea in adult cattle from a dairy herd of Lavras county, MG, was described. From a herd of 10 cows, seven became ill. The diarrhea lasted six to 10 days, being more prolonged, intense, and with blood in lacting cows. Other signs included apathy, reduced appetite and milk production, and serous nasolacrimal discharge. Bovine coronavirus was detected in fecal samples from the five cattle tested by nested-RT-PCR. |
