Abstract: This work describes and analyzes an educational practice provided during emergency remote teaching as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. It is a video lesson collectively constructed by teachers undergoing training in the Pedagogical Residency program, in which the theme “Kingdom of Fungi” was presented in a didactic sequence whose central axis is the evolution of living beings. With the suspension of face-to-face classes, contextualized and relaxed educational practices can bring students closer to the content worked on, which is fundamental for us to consider a critical and emancipatory education. In order to understand the potential of the practice described in this work, an evaluation was carried out among teachers in training through an online form. The evaluations were analyzed through speech analysis in order to understand the speeches considering the specificities of each speaker. It is concluded that although some issues can be improved, such as the lack of visual elements, the practice was enough to elucidate the content.
