Abstract: This research sought to highlight the adoption of integrated agricultural production systems in the Eldorado Settlement project in the municipality of Sidrolândia, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, from November 1 st , 2023, to January 20 th , 2024. In total, 57 properties were visited, and we found no residents in 11 houses. Also, 28 properties were 100% leased to third parties for planting soybeans and corn. In 18 of these properties, the plots were explored under a family economy regime, with agriculture and dairy and beef cattle farming. The questionnaires were administered by the researcher. The target audience was defined through the non-probability sampling method by judgment (Babbie, 1999; Rea; Parker, 2000), in which the researcher has the freedom to define the sample, according to the objectives of his research (Alencar, 2004). We found that 50% of those interviewed did not know any integration system, and 50% knew some integration system; among them, 22% adopted integration systems for low-carbon farming. From this information, we can detect the obstacles to the low adoption of integrated systems in settlement properties. Based on this diagnosis, we will have subsidies to prepare proposals for mitigating Greenhouse Gases in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals.
