Abstract: Th e text questions the film “Hard Candy”, which is an American expression that tells about sexual violence against girls, that is, when a child is seduced, it turns out to be easy as candy. Here, the seduction is to violence, so it is hard. Hard Candy turned to be Bad Girl in Brazil. We ask: what are the discourses from the fi lm? What are the possible representations? In the process of the meaning construction, what tensions emerge from the critics, from the public, from the author? In the narrative construction of the fi lm, which are the choices for photography, discourses, scenarios, illumination that produce senses? Why does the illustration of the fi lm refer to the symbology of the “Little Red Riding Hood”? So, the invitation is to think! Interlacing the theme of pedophilia to the theoretical post-struturalist referencial and to the public policies in the confrontation to sexual violences.
