Abstract: This paper presents discourse analysis of critical-reflective character on the use of information and communication technologies (TIC) in the Brazilian educational system. It also identifies challenges and describes the typical profile of this in the research literature teacher. Review of literature on the subject since it allows observation of conceptual aspects, content and relevance of the production as well as the standards of construction and scientific methodologies applied in the research was conducted. The text first presents a historical overview of how TICs have been introduced in education in Brazil, describes a comparative basis and in view of the different authors and constructionist instructional aspects of TIC use, discusses the integration of technologies in TPaCK model, the importance teacher training and culminates with the presentation of the paths that have been taken to this discussion in the literature, a useful form for those who want to approach the trends on TIC the present educational scenario.
