Abstract: The text proposes a look for the practices of reading and for the position of professor in the process of teaching, using images of pedagogical action, represented in the pages of a book of children's literature: Galileu Leu, by Lia Zatz. The communication aims to understand teaching relations, reflecting on the Act of teaching and learning as actions that motivate and direct the dynamic educational, articulated in the process of Constitution written language as a dialogic entry. The text develops from two propositions: that there is an interaction of actions as considering that who teaches also learns teaching. The following approach bases in the opinion that act of reading depends more on what is behind the eyes, i.e., the constitute of reading activity depends on something that is beyond decoding, decryption, something effective from a construction of the senses.
