Abstract: In order to evaluate the effect of different substrates combined sources of fertilizeron the growth of seedlings of Rangpur lime (Citrus limonia Osbeck) was installed in a randomized block experiment with 13 treatments formed by combinations off actors in the study: three commercial mineral fertilizers (Osmocote ®, Yoorin ® and granulate bioclastic ®), two organic wastes (rice hulls and peat) and commercial substrate as shown by the pure (Plantimax). To evaluate the development of seedlings, we considered the following characteristics: height plant (HP), the number of leaves (NL), root length (RL), shoot dry mass (SDM), root dry mass (RDM). The data were subjected to analysis of variance, with the application of the F test at 5% significance and tests of normality of errors and homoscedasticity of variances, respectively through the Shapiro-Wilks tests and Bartlett.Com based on differences in growth, we recommend the use of the base substrate of peat and rice hulls in combination with slow-release fertilizer Osmocote®.
