Abstract: This study was to evaluate the effect of natural selection in the sample size in the bulk method in autogamous plants. This, settings were simulated considering the family F24: 25. The simulations have covered two heritability values with 100 segregating loci. The effect of natural selection was evaluated with different sample sizes which were 50 200, 1000 and 2000 individuals. Conclude that natural selection gives gains with a sample size of over 1000 individuals during the generations of advancement in autogamous.
