O empreendedorismo social no contexto da economia solidária

Abstract

This paper presents the results of a research that aimed at analyzing the role of social entrepreneurs in the solidarity economy. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with managers of solidary economic enterprises to: establishing the relationship between social entrepreneurship and solidarity economy, identifying the motivations of the existence of this relationship and evaluating the social success of this coexistence. The interviews were analyzed through the content analysis. It was found that social entrepreneurship and solidarity economy have close relationship. It occurs especially because of the convergence of its common objectives as the poverty alleviation and improving people's quality of life.
