| Resumo: | Using principles of cognitive research and expert performance, this study aimed to: identify and describe common factors relating to training, from four Brazilian Aerobic Gymnastics expert trainers from the implementation of a proposed task and present deductively a excellence model of this group. Based on Protocol Analysis and cognitive map 3, the narratives of coaches were recorded, transcribed and organized into meaning units. The results gave a cognitive map and indicated that training, elements, mental conditioning and choreography are the categories of knowledge that guided the coaches’ actions. |
