| Resumo: | The aim of this study is to analyze the academic literature on the balanced scorecard tool ( " BSC "), seeking to understand the profile and trends in the field from the seminal text of Kaplan and Norton (1992) . Therefore, 1169 articles present in the database Web of Science were analyzed through bibliometric techniques and sociometry, with the help of CiteSpace software and NVivo 10. The results show that the Balanced Scorecard tool is booming, with still strong influence of the seminal text of Kaplan and Norton and covering different areas of knowledge, not focused only on business. |
