Efeitos da irrigação e mecanização sobre a compactação de um latossolo cultivado com soja (Glycine max L.)

Abstract

With the aim of increasing me knowledge about compactation of irrigated soils under intensive moviment of machines and equipments, soil phisics and hydraulic properties such as bulk densit, moisture content and soil penetration resistence were measured after explotation of a season of soybean with supplemental irrigation and without irrigation crop parameters such as crop production and yield were also evaluated. This study was conducted in a dystrophic dusky red latosol, situated in ESAL Campus. Throught statistical analysis, it was observed on increase of bulk density whem the soil was tillaged with moisture content susceptible for soil compactation. However, this variation was not sufficient to cause signifícative difíerences in soil penetration resistence as well in soybean yield.
