Abstract: The objective of this work was to determine the range of the application of cupric products to the inoculation of H.vastatrix in coffee seedlings. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at the Plant Pathology Department of the Federal University of Lavras, in coffee seedlings cultivating Mundo Novo 379/19, susceptible to the pathogen. Copper-based commercial products, a systemic fungicide, its mixture with a cupric, the Fulland resistance inducer and the Cercosporin toxin were used, finally the control, plus five inoculation times of H. vastatrix coffee rust. With the first on day 0, and the others every 7 days until 28 days after applying the treatments. The scheme used was a 9 x 5 factorial, with a total of 45 treatments and four replicates, composed of three seedlings. The experimental design was in randomized blocks. The time interval of 0 DAAP had five products with severity indices below 10 in the AACPDS, times 7, 21 and 28 DAAP had four, while time 14 DAAP only two. For the products, the ideal time intervals between their inoculation application are: copper sulfate + glucone the lowest AACPD for the severity was at 0 days after application of the product, for Cu + EDTA at 21 DAAP, copper hydroxide at 14 DAAP, for cuprous oxide at 0 DAAP, for cercosporine at 0 DAAP and for copper ethyl phosphonate at 14 DAAP. For the physiological variables there was no interaction between the inoculation time and the products.
