Abstract: Mymercophaga tridactyla is athreatened species. There is no knowledge of the presence of geographical barriers that avoid the dispersal of the specie in the south of Minas Gerais. For some unknown reason the specie doesn´t occurs in faunal inventories', and there is a lacuna of its occurrence in the south of Minas Gerais. Therefore, the present work presents a documented record of a female with cub in the Serra da Boa Esperança State Park, evidencing the importance of the conservation of the area and its surroundings.
