Abstract: Synchronous Reference PLL (Phase Locked Loop) is one of the main strategies for voltage synchronization of distributed generation systems (DG) with the grid. Thus, the control parameters that compose the PLL must be perfectly adjusted in order to guarantee the control of the power flow between the GD and the electrical system. Aware of this problem, this paper aims to optimize the values of this PLL control parameters through the meta-heuristic approach TLBO (Teaching–learning-based optimization). The obtained results show that the obtained parameters presented better results in relation to several types of grid disturbances, even when compared to the others in the literature.
