Abstract: Forty-eight animals Anglo Nubian breed and Boer × Anglo Nubian, created in semi-intensive system, were slaughtered at 5, 6, 7 and 8 months old to evaluate the commercial cuts allometry, in relation to the weight of the cold half-carcass. The experimental delineation was entirely randomized stratified in two genetic groups, two sexes and four ages of slaughter, with three repetitions. Weight in relation to cutting of half-carcass cold was evaluated through exponential equation and compared the value of b's between genetic groups in each sex by F-test. The cuts made in half-carcass left were: leg, palette, rib, loin, clean rib, neck and low. Animals evaluated aged between five and eight months and bodyweight between 14 and 24 kg, leg cuts, rib, loin, neck and bust, grow in the same proportion to the body in males (b = 1), while in females was verified in the leg, palette, rib and low. Cuts with high participation in housing with b = 1 shows that the slaughter of animals should be recommended based on carcass weight.
