Fundamentos Teóricos da Gestão Social

Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical approach to the Social Management, understood as a field in construction. The text begins with a literature review of what has already built about the concept of Social Management, identifying theoretical categories that support the concept. From these categories we present a first draft, "done in pencil", to contribute to the construction of this field. The identified theoretical categories were: a) Self-Interest Rightly Understood, which has two complementary categories: solidarity and sustainability, b) Public Sphere (treated as an intermediary category), since it is the locus and essential condition of its development, presenting other complementary categories: Deliberative Democracy, Dialogicity, Intersubjectivity and Rationality; and c) Emancipation. These categories are interrelated by means of Adorno's Negative Dialectics.
