Resumo: Micropropagation of grapevine is mainly used for obtaining uniform, virus-free plants and in a short time. With the aim to improve techniques of micropropagation of grapevine (Vitis sp.) rootstocks, nodal segments of nearly 2,5 cm in length and two axillary buds from plants in vitro were excised and inoculated in different culture media, supplemented with four concentrations of kinetin and four concentrations of 6- benzylaminopurine (BAP), in all possible combinations. The pH was adjusted to 6,4 (DSD1) and 5,8 (MS) prior to the addition 6 g dm-3 Cof agar and sterilization at 121 and 1 atm during 20 minutes. After inoculation, the explants were transferred to growth mol m-2C, irradiance of 35 room at a temperature of 25 ± 2 s -1 and photoperiod of 16 hours, remaining in these conditions during 70 days. The experiment design used was the completely randomized design, involving four replications and three tubes containing one explant each. Higher number of shoots of ‘Kobber 5BB' was verified in the culture medium Kc. For the rootstock ‘VR043-43', the most appropriate culture medium for the multiplication in vitro was DSD1. The best results in the micropropagation of ‘R110’ and little formation of callus were observed in the absence of growth regulators in the culture medium.
