Abstract: This work investigates the contributions of philosophy and epistemology inter-regional to the contribution of scientific knowledge in the field of administration and organizational studies. It was started from the pre-supposed that the axiological, ontological and epistemological view of the researcher result into different research paradigms, which are the bases of a “non-absolute truth”, for science admits the possibility of mistake and the need for perpetual disposition to review the ideas. Thus, there no theories capable of explain all the administrative and organizational phenomena. The study stresses that the genesis itself of organizational epistemology is of interdisciplinary and inter-regional nature, exactly by the inexistence of theories and methodology proper to the field, which were capable to explain the complexity of the organizational phenomena. In that way, both the organizational epistemology and the organizational science emerged and are in a consolidation process in a context of hybridization and interdisciplinarity, joining simultaneously together several other fields of knowledge and multiple approaches. From that results that theories concerning the administrative and organizational studies are fallible and remain subject to either improvement or replacement. Reality is always changing and one cannot freeze it into a single model. So, in the field of the studies of administration and organization, one should accept the need for ongoing transformation, bettering and broadening of knowledge.
